Rather than attempting to make a large, awesome nonlinear video editing system, Nevu will attempt to contribute by creating the backends needed for various video editing tasks. As these backends are completed, other developers will hopefully step up to the plate and integrate them as modules into the various existing multimedia software that is out there.

Nevu is always looking for additional developers. If you have at least basic programming comptency and the willingness to invest a lot of time and effort into making solid code, drop by the contacts section and drop me a line. Note that you don't have to work on one of Nevu's existing projects. Just by making your own pet project part of Nevu, you'll find that you will have access to like-minded developers who can (hopefully) lend a hand when you encounter particularly hairy problems.
